New York City - Chapter #447

The New York City Chapter, founded in 1968, has over 900 members and is the largest one in New York State.   While few fishing opportunities exist within the City, several trout streams in the Catskills, the Croton watershed and western Connecticut are just a few hours drive away.  Saltwater opportunities also exist for the NYC fly fisherman, as well as some freshwater fly fishing as close as Long Island.

Members of the New York City Chapter oversee one of the largest Trout-in-the-Classroom programs, with participants in many of the inner-city schools in the New York Metropolitan area.
