NY Geographic Regions
New York State has more than 25 active chapters, the second largest number of any state in the Nation. 5 Chapters have been named after people who have advanced the art of fly-fishing or the science of trout -- these are Art Flick (Region 1), Dave Brandt (Region 4), Al Hazzard (Region 7), Leon Chandler (Region 8) and Seth Green (Region 8). Their stories have been included in the Regional pages that follow.
Local chapters are great resources providing critical information and support to the large number of diverse streams and rivers in New York. For all Chapters, a link is provided to the Chapter's website or to contact the Chapter's President. You also can contact a Regional Vice President with one of these links regionalvps1_4@newyorkcouncil-tu.org or region5vp@newyorkcouncil-tu.org or regionalvps6_9@newyorkcouncil.org
